The Appalacian Artisan Society Gallery



Starting at the August 26 Grand Opening, David Orr will be exhibiting at The Appalachian Artisan Society Gallery in Old Fort, N.C., near Asheville. Here is the promotional blurb for the Gallery:

If I lived anywhere close, I would definitely go to see your work. I would especially like to see your mandala pieces up close. Good luck.

Thanks. Wish you could see them too. My wife started doing mandala's a few years ago as part of pastoral counselor training at Loyola University. I liked how they are sort of a self-portrait and universal statement at the same time.

Traditional mandalas are contained in the circle, but I like to bleed the edges. Seems more like my reality to me.
